Group Education

Our outdoor ClassROAM field trips offer an up-close and engaging experience with our wildlife and gardens. Reservation of a field trip includes:

  • Entrance to the Gardens
  • Participation in the Flamingo Show
  • Animal Presentation or Keeper Talk
  • Guided Tour

The program is offered Monday through Friday from 10AM – 3PM. Three days notice is required for bookings, and a maximum of 30 students and 3 adults are permitted per booking.

Summer Camp Week 1

Animal Detectives

June 26th – 30th

Welcome to “Animal Detectives” where campers become wildlife sleuths! Join us for an exciting and educational journey into the fascinating world of animals. This action-packed camp is designed to ignite your child’s curiosity about wildlife while fostering a love for the natural world.

Each day, campers will unravel mysteries, uncover animal tracks, and learn about animal behavior as they follow in the footsteps of our animal detective heroes. They will have the opportunity to observe and interact with a diverse range of creatures, from furry mammals and colorful birds to slithering reptiles and fascinating insects.

Summer Camp Week 2

Curious Minds of Scientists

July 3rd – 7th

During this week of camp, we invite young scientists to embark on an exciting scientific journey like never before. Our camp is designed to inspire and ignite the curiosity of budding scientists, encouraging them to ask questions, make discoveries, and unleash their  imaginations.

Throughout the week, campers will engage in hands-on experiments, thrilling demonstrations, and a captivating field trip, all centered around the wonders of science.

Summer Camp Week 3

Animal Ambassadors

July 17th – 21st

During this week young nature enthusiasts will embark on an exciting adventure to explore the wonderful world of animals! Our camp is designed to provide children with a memorable and educational experience filled with fun activities, hands-on learning, and plenty of opportunities to become animal ambassadors themselves.

By nurturing their curiosity, instilling a love for animals, and teaching the importance of conservation, we aim to inspire a lifelong passion for wildlife and create a generation of dedicated animal ambassadors.

Summer Camp Week 4

Animal Adaptations

July 24th – 28th

Get ready for an exciting and educational adventure that will take your child on a journey through the fascinating world of animal adaptations. During this week, campers will explore the wonders of nature and learn about the incredible ways animals have adapted to their environments.

Campers will embark on a week-long exploration, immersing themselves in the diverse habitats and ecosystems where animals thrive. Campers will delve into different habitats such as rainforests, deserts, oceans, and polar regions. They will learn about the specific challenges each habitat presents and the adaptations animals have developed to overcome them.

Group Education

The program is offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 10AM – 12PM. Three days notice is required for bookings, and a maximum of 30 students (3 teachers) are permitted per booking.

Animal Crew to You Program

Looking for a unique way to bring your classroom lessons to life? We offer a special program called Animal Crew to You, where you can invite some of our animals to come and visit! For one hour time slots, our team members can provide an in-person animal experience in an educational setting and facilitate a brief discussion about each animal. The animals that would love to visit include:

  • Macaws (birds)
  • Rabbits
  • Bahamian Boa (snake)
  • Box turtles
  • Guinea Pigs
  • Yellow-Footed Tortoise
