Animal Interactions
We believe that getting to know our animals is a great way to foster a passion for conservation and stewardship among our visitors. Ardastra Gardens offers a variety of animal experiences that help to enrich the lives not only of our guests, but of the animals as well.
Animal experiences give our keepers a chance to educate guests on the unique needs of each animal, so when you are walking around Ardastra, feel free to ask a keeper anything you want about the many creatures that call the park home!

Interactive Tortoise Experience
Get up close and personal with a variety of our tortoise species! Feed, pet and groom these charming creatures while enjoying a keeper talk, where you will learn about how important they are to our ecosystem.
The experience takes place daily at 11:30 AM.
(There is a $7 add-on fee.)
Flamingo Show
Our flamingos are “fan favorites” hera at Ardastra Gardens. After decades of conservation efforts and building up our flock, they have been conditioned to “march” for visitors and create the perfect opportunity to entertain and educate the public about this amazing species.
Ardastra hosts two flamingo shows every day for visitors – one at 11:30 AM and one at 1:30 PM.
